How To Send Us Your Files

Please make sure you follow the guide below to ensure that your vocals are fixed and sent back as quick as possible .

How to send us files:

After you purchase your VoxFix you will receive a confirmation email indication where to send your vocals. Please send a folder using a file sharing service such as google drive, dropbox, sendspace etc. and be sure to include your order number in the subject of the email.

The Details

Our technicians use Pro Tools to process your vocal files, so please send a standard folder that includes the following:

  1. A bounced WAV file of the instrumental labeled with the tempo/BPM of your song. Make sure that no raw vocals or click tracks are printed in this file and that it is consolidated to zero in your session.

  2. Individual tracks for every raw vocal wishing to be processed. Please be sure to clearly label each track (e.g. Lead Vocal, Double Vocal, Harmony 1, etc.) and to also consolidate each of these tracks to zero within your session, so that they line up perfectly with your instrumental.

  3. A reference bounce of your song, including raw vocals and all. This will help us catch any transfer errors.

Consolidating to Zero:

Consolidating to zero means highlighting all of the waveforms or content of the track, making sure that the highlighted section reaches the absolute beginning of the session, and then committing or rendering the audio to give the entire track a concrete start time. There are many instructional videos on how to do this for every DAW online.

Why this is essential:

Consolidating all of your audio tracks to zero in your session will not only make it possible for us to process your audio by keeping everything in its right place, but it's necessary for properly importing your processed vocals back into your session.
